St Kilda will be aiming to take down premiership contenders Fremantle for the second time this season on Saturday night, in a bid to keep their finals hopes alive. Join The Roar for live scores and rolling coverage from 7:25pm (AEST).
The Saints surged back into finals contention after a horror three weeks with a stirring triumph over Carlton last week. However, they’ve been counting the cost since, with important defenders Dougal Howard (knee) and Hunter Clark (nose) both forced out for this match.
However, with star Saints pair Bradley Hill and Jack Sinclair dominating across half-back against the Blues, and Paddy Ryder in vintage touch in the ruck, Brett Ratten’s team will back themselves to the hilt to pull off another upset – especially having bested the Dockers over in Perth back in Round 2.
Since then, the Dockers have become one of the season’s biggest surprise packets, surging up the ladder to be well and truly in the flag hunt.
With a miserly defence, a star in Andrew Brayshaw dominating the midfield and an exciting forward line, the Dockers have stunned both top-two sides Geelong and Melbourne on their own turf, while also taking down Brisbane and splitting games with Carlton this year.
Much of the debate this week has focussed on Nat Fyfe’s role, and whether the skipper can move to a permanent forward position after an underwhelming return from injury in midfield. If he can make the switch, the Dockers might become even more potent.

Haha yeah exactly he was a legend of Carlton and he was unceremoniously dumped

I'm well aware of the incorrect disposal rule, the problem is it's rarely and inconsistently paid.

Damn, that was a quick response. You should think about starting up a Stalking Academy.

Richmond 6 ... you keep tabs on the number of people you stalk on this site? That's just weird. But each to their own. Some enjoy walking, going to cafes, watching football, etc. You, it's placing 18 thousand comments on this site within four years.

I take no interest in what you have to say. I do enjoy pulling the rug from under mockers like you and the Richmond 6. Who knows why you choose to carry on that way?

"Get this clear" Settle down; you're starting to lose your cool...again. I'm not one of your students, Don. No need to ram your opinion down my throat. "what you say is of no account." If you genuinely believed that, you wouldn't take as much interest in what I have to say.

Yeah I like what Schultz offers. Tricky one to fit Drizzy in with Aish playing so well on a wing in his and Acres absense. Good problems to have.

Disnick, you're blithering and foaming at the mouth. Get this clear; you speak rubbish from a position of prejudice and, therefore, what you say is of no account. When you start body-shaming absolute stars like Fyfe and Darcy, you expose yourself. Happy to upset you.

Look, no one else will be reading this, and I'll be brutally honest: you come across as a mOr@n. Perhaps I'm wrong in that assessment, but I'll give you a clear-cut example: "That just indicates you’re not looking. Pay attention." We both know there are no other comments made before this. You hide in a corner when down, whine when your team loses and come up for air when your team wins. This thread is a clear example of that — you were nowhere to be seen when the chips were down. You've outlined in the past how you enjoy my football knowledge, and I appreciate those comments. However, I find you to be simple and lacking character. That's okay, as there are plenty here with your level of knowledge and demeanour to banter with. However, please understand, I feel st4p1der after speaking with you — no offence.

Paranoid! Your comments were silly. When/if I read them I'll respond. If you don't like the response, here's 2 options: 1. Don't say silly things in the first place. 2. Don't give me the power over your well-being that you seem to be conceding.
Tassie.

Incorrect disposal, I thought you would know the rules, apparently not!

Don Freo Roar Rookie July 9th 2022 @ 10:42pm See that little time stamp below your name? It indicates you decided to come back to comments I made hours beforehand. You're getting kind of creepy with the number of people you stalk on this site.

agree it was good to see that Tigers got done at the last minute, great result. West Coast to defeat Blues, "stranger things" do happen.

Wilson, Hughes, Colyer. Schultz probably saved his spot with his second half. Absent in the first. I think they'll give Drizzy at least one game at Peel. Chappy will definitely be in.

Nothing is ever a certainty. It's in our own hands and if we win the games we should win we make it.

Who goes out? Wilson, Hughes, Banfield for sure. Maybe Colyer? Not sure who else..

Not sure Clark actually got boot to ball, would need to have another look at the replay. I'd have said both were HTB from my perspective. Having said that I wasn't complaining. I also think that Saints fans cannot blame the umps, it was 22 frees to 17 is St Kilda's favour and they were beaten by 40+ points.

I don't and commented such above repeatedly. Fyfe was a big presence and dockers turned the clearances around in the middle then continued to feast on turn overs. Was a good win.
