Josh P. Kennedy celebrates game 250 as the Sydney Swans take on the resurgent Western Bulldogs at the SCG. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

A popular pick for the bottom four, the Swans have been surprisingly competitive so far this season and put in their best performance so far last week. Coming up against the undefeated Kangaroos, Sydney dominated the middle quarters before holding on in the fourth to claim a spirited 11-point win.

The Bulldogs finally broke their duck last week after a horror start to the season. Following a dreadful first two rounds, the Doggies withstood a barrage of physicality and off-the-ball niggle from the Giants and let their football do the talking in an encouraging 24-point win.

The Bulldogs have enjoyed a strong record over the Swans since Luke Beveridge became coach, winning four of their six encounters – including last year’s sole meeting by 17 points. Sydney did claim the last meeting at the SCG, however, by 46 points.

Which is worse, to be condescending or to be nasty to everybody that's not you?

What a condescending prat. And even if you haven’t played, it is not that hard to imagine and understand it.

Maybe, but not quite "rabble" or "losing the players"!

nah I don't think so, I think large chunks of the swans side have stagnated in their development, and they're reliant on too few aging stars.

welll to be fair to Jobe he probably has gone back with the flight a few too many times if you catch my drift.

He just said that it is hard to convey to the people at home how hard it is to back in or run towards a pack while trying to mark. Not a lot in it but there are many people at home that have played footy at all levels that know this, doesn't have to be at AFL level.

Easy. I can’t believe anyone tipped Sydney; they were outclassed from the get-go.

Of course not Jobe because nobody at home has ever played football before.
