After a heartbreaking loss last week, Gold Coast head to Perth out for a rebound against the injury-plagued West Coast. Join The Roar for live scores from 8:40pm (AEST).

The second of the rare AFL Friday night double-header sees the Eagles’ paper-thin list stretched even further, with Jai Culley (knee) and Shannon Hurn (adductor) among the outs.

The Suns, meanwhile, are far from the easy kill they once were, pushing Melbourne all the way last week only to lose by five points. With Noah Anderson in career-best form and Matt Rowell a clearance beast, Stuart Dew’s team are heavily favoured to head back across the country with four badly needed premiership points.

It depends on who the hawks play the week before the eagles I think Sam Mitchell will tell James Sicily to deliberately get suspended

Yeah that’s fair then. Having a second string to call up is important not that it would make much of a difference

All he has to do is do something Sicily doesn't agree with and he'll be giving away 50s all day

I do agree with cutting list sizes but there should be more access to your reserves team in such cases.

A broken nose to Jones and a broken wrist to Darling are the Eagles going to be able to field a side for much longer? I legitimately can’t believe that cal twomey wants to cut list sizes to fit in Tasmania.

The only perverse enjoyment i will get from tonight is thinking about how Sam Mitchell will shuffle his pack to contrive to lose to our mob in Tasmania. Most creative solutions win a prize.

Miller did not play he’s still out with a knee injury. His role was split between Alex Davies, Rory atkins and Brayden Fiorini

Well played Gold Coast. Some of that stoppage play was silk. Rowell, Anderson and Witts were excellent. Did Miller play? Handy quartet that.

Suns up 9goals atm, 8 min left... will junk time kick in soon, or will Suns go the big percentage booster? Let's see.

Another rule to be clarified: Too many players after taking a mark are just dragged to the ground - deliberate time wasting - used to be 50 metre penalty. Has that rule been deleted? It's happening many times in every game lately.
