Will the Western Bulldogs level their win-loss record, or will it be Adelaide who claim the points in this clash in Ballarat? Join The Roar for live scores and rolling coverage from 1:45pm (AEST).
A thriller awaits at Mars Stadium as both sides strive to bring their seasons back on track following impressive wins last week. The Crows defeated Richmond by 19 points, and the Dogs thrashed North Melbourne on Good Friday by 68 points.
Both teams will be without some key players this week, particularly the Dogs, with Lachie Hunter and Mitch Wallis out for personal reasons, and ruckman Tim English out with a 2-3-week hamstring injury.
Riley Garcia will also be out with a serious knee injury, while former Brisbane ruckman Stefan Martin will replace English for his 200th AFL game, and Robbie McComb will make his debut.
Josh Schache will also come in for the Dogs and Tim O’Brien will play his 100th AFL game.
The Crows will miss captain Rory Sloane for the rest of the season after suffering a serious injury to his right knee last weekend.
Coming in for Sloane will be Jackson Hately, who will play his fourth game for the club after arriving from GWS at the end of 2020.
To fill the captaincy void, coach Matthew Nicks has turned to his leadership group of Brodie Smith, Ben Keays, Reilly O’Brien and Tom Doedee to share the load for the rest of the season.
Former Crows skipper Taylor Walker will be one player to watch in this encounter after kicking nine goals since his return from suspension two games ago.
For the Bulldogs, Bailey Smith has the highest average for disposals per game of any player in the league with 35.8; the Crows will need to clamp down on him to snatch an upset win.
Can the Crows keep up their impressive form from last week’s exciting performance against the Tigers, or will the Dogs get their season back on track?
Excusing a draw, we know for sure that one team will take a 3-3 record back home, while the other slinks off at 2-4 and in trouble.

AFC have a treasure chest of money to offer, and a likely better draft hand at seasons end over port! Not to mention Luk was a crows supporter before he was drafted! I wanted be selling the house for Luk though - reckon we have a few already as good

I found it. I didn't listen to it for no reason. Dunno why. It didn't move me. I was padlocked to the ceiling. Penny Wong's fault. Or was it Barnaby. Hard to be dogmatic.

Love the Bont but he’s being played out of position for the greater good of the team. Hurts not having Bruce the Juice but sh.t happens!

And the Dogs are not out of it. I rate Bevo as a top coach. And if you don’t like The Bont you’re a schmuck.

I’m still a Sou Auzzie, we’re all born at the start of round one and we know it’s 15. We’ve started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Didn’t miss much. Was the worst game in about 10 years. Terrible quality football.

I doubt it. Gold Coast will be willing to pay a lot more to keep him than Adelaide will be to lure him. In any case, I suspect Port would likely be more keen and, at the rate things are going, have better draft picks to offer.

Perhaps that presser earlier in the season from Bevo was more telling than we thought.

I’m probably not the best person to help. Already had 3 people die on me this week. I feel like Carter from ER in his first few years.

I actually like Bevo because he's honest and straight. And l like the fact he gets passionate, some say angry but .... so what.

Getting smashed in an elimination seems to have a similar effect.

We may've had ascendancy, here n there, but we kicked poorly so a 1 point win is reflective of that. You may've had reasons that you lost by more but in reality we were not good enough up front to stamp our authority like we should've. A fair result in the end. ------- The sign of a truly good team is to win by lots and lose by a little. Percentage is King
