As much as i think Kanes opinions on footy usually carry as much weight as a mouldy potatos opinions have to agree 100% on this one but you dont need to go back to 2007 and relive those god awful jumpers Port use to play in to come to that conclusion... how many times did Simon Goodwin repeat over the pre-season "we dont feel we need to review the Prelim Final"? I was talking to some people involved in the NFL the last time I was in the US and I thought the difference in attitude between AFL people and NFL people was stark. It is common practice in the NFL to 'take it easy' once you have an unassailable lead. In the AFL we expect our teams to really put their 'foot on the throat' of a weaker opposition and stretch out their lead.

Yes I can imagine GWS would be needing such advice after such a mauling. The Tigers showed no mercy, I mean surely they could have eased up a little in the last quarter when the game was won? Be a little charitable and let GWS kick another one or two goals, this would have been more sportsman like.
