It doesn't, though. Traditional wisdom is always restricted by cliche. Be clear, I'm not a JL devotee. I have stated this so many times.

It's what I just said. "Of the two kids with hardly any first-class success..." A problem with trolling is you look stupid.

Don't call me champ, champ. The Australian bowling rate was too slow. By ICC regulation. Which Cricket Australia has agreed to. The required rate is thirty overs per two hour session and ninety in a day's play. Which ,if they'd endeavoured to do so, should have concluded at 7 p.m. It then took 33 minutes to bowl six overs and three balls. This seven over shortfall, with no excuses, means sanctions and docking of WTC points which supposedly McDonald and the selectors and the fast bowling cloche are so concerned about.

They had bowled only 83 overs by official time of stumps, i.e. 7.00 p.m. If they had their full complement of overs delivered by that time, West indies would have been 6/224, slow batting sure but only six down.

They got in 90 overs. What's your point?

Weird that they'll make up for overs lost to rain or bad light by starting early but not for overs lost by bad bowling/captaincy.
