The only thing holding a bowlers interest in the IPL is money. The bowler goes through an ‘ endurance test’ of being flayed to all parts of the ground for six weeks ,with the only motivation being an increase to the bank balance. BG I think NSW will go with Hynes. Slater and Qld have Luai’s measure. Munster can really lift in Origin like a lot of the qlders. I am concerned about Qld getting the better of NSW in the forwards though.

Smith was never the same player after that concussion. It was obvious, that when he encountered Wagner’s relentless short pitched bowling a year or so later, he was on the look out for THAT TYPE OF BALL that decked him.

Tedesco is in that really “ cranky stage” prior to retirement. He has done it all and recently concussed for the 10 th time. In a club which isn’t performing and he isn’t performing, brain snaps like the trip occur. Sheer frustration kicks in. It’s with that context in mind, NSW selectors have to be concerned that the ill discipline and poor decision making he is displaying gets transferred to the Origin arena. It’s time to make the call on Teddy. No origin in 2024.
