Yeah he was up to it despite you hoping he'd fail. Short can still give Mitch support when he replaces Inglis!

20 at a run a ball is poor. Very poor!

What an utterly stupid comment.

After the ball was past that arm, that body, that NZ anger, that betting-fuelled disappointment. He’s one of the best fielders in the world. If the ball hadn’t passed him, he’d have stopped it.

Whose? We both have a choice. I have the time.

It clearly went under his arm at about wrist level. There were only about 7 damn replays of it. He was too far away to get his trunk behind it if trunk means torso but if he had aimed to just make sure he got his arm behind he'd have had a better chance. That was the second hero move he made that led to a costly fielding error. The other being trying to volleyball back the ball as hewent over the rope, ratehr than first catch it and see if he could have let go of it fast enough.

I didn't say he had a bad game. This is basic comprehension Don

Not this kind of pressure in those matches.

One would have to wonder why you were so vehement the batting blame all falls on Inglis' 20 balls.

He did this in each match against WI as well. He will never be consistent given he’s trying to score 30 off 10, but he’s really worked it out this year (so far)

Well given it was the back ups that conceded the first three, you can’t actually read too much into it

Aussie selectors to be praised on their team selection, keeping Smith out of the team. The match was a thrilling contest. Marsh seems to have grown leaps and bounds. For the Kiwis, Rachin Ravindra continues his superb showing with yet another fine knock. I thought Aussie bowling lacked bite and was just ordinary when Rachin and Devon were at crease.

I have said in this thread I really rate Inglis and have said today here Marsh is my favourite cricketer. So, keep badmouthing West Australians shall I?

You’re not the only one on this site. Plenty isolating Inglis for blame with no comment about bowling 2 extra overs of wides. Have you added the runs scored off 7th balls? You are the one bringing states into it. I didn’t mention it. You seem determined to bad-mouth West Aussies. Don’t.

We just scraped home. If we lose there's a pile on. You'd probably be leading the complaints and calling for sackings. Try and have a little perspective
