Interesting too that Burns spoke of the joy he felt of batting in the middle order. I know he’s played plenty of cricket there, but it’s interesting when you think back to a few seasons ago where he mentioned hating the anxiety of waiting to bat, hence a preference opening. That might have subsided, who knows.
Burns getting runs early in the season. Good things to come. A lot of contenders for the national limited overs teams are doing well. With the World Cup over, some new blood should be brought in as planning for the next Cup begins. Make Mitch Marsh the skipper and Carey the VC. Bring in the young guys
