I agree with some other comments i’ve seen that Green at 5 and Head at 6 would be better, for two reasons: Green’s defence is better, and Head seems better at starting innings quickly
I understand the pedantry but what annoys me about the states is this: only Tasmania has a name that's interesting. Of the other's, two are royalty worship, and the rest are just directions.
Agree Kim (Are you a fan of the 1980 Centenary Test at Lord's?).
Green definitely has the game to bat at 5, and then 4 once Smith retires, but I think when the Test team is next selected, Travis Head will most likely occupy 5, with Green at 6.
Double ton up for Green. Nice one.

So Roar editors, good to see you have reverted to calling the team by its proper name - Western Australia - as opposed to "West Australia" earlier in the week. BUT, the team has not been called the "Warriors" for a couple of seasons now, so can you drop the use of that name too. We're almost there guys :silly:

That a very insightful observation and an outstanding point.

And for God's Sake, quit this 'Team India' rubbish: it's test cricket not The Voice!

The big hill right next to the town of Kununurra is called "Kelly's Knob". (not joking!) :silly:

Reckon one would get lost if trying to get to Sydney by heading south from Wales.

True, but at least there's some interesting town names around.

Have to admit despite not liking cheesy nicknames for cricket teams, I often referred to them as the Warriors without realising.
