One Mankad can divide the cricket world… but four in one innings?
There were extraordinary scenes in a Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Africa between Uganda and Cameroon, when Cameroon bowler Maeva Douma ran out four batters in the same baffling way.
Given Cameroon would be bowled out for 35 chasing Uganda’s 190, and those four Mankads were two-thirds of the wickets they managed to take… we’re giving it the all-clear on the sportsmanship front.

Fully agree. legitimate dismissal. and i say that as someone who was once mankaded (embarrassingly the second bloke in our team to go that way that day - as someone said, you think they learn). for those who think that if the batsman pinches just an inch or two that he should have been warned, not dismissed, look at it the other way. if he makes his ground for a quick single by that inch, he has effectively cheated and robbed the bowling team of a wicket.

Good !!!! Backing up too far is cheating, simple as that. I've never understood why you have to give the batsman a warning either. The bowler doesn't give the batsman a warning if he's going to bowl a bouncer, yorker or slower ball does he? What's he difference?

They are all as out as a clean bowled.

You only have to stay in your crease until the moment when the bowler would normally have released the ball. The bowler shouldn't be allowed to baulk the batter.

Or just stay in the crease until after the ball has been bowled... A good bowler should always be playing for the mankad. It's a legitimate dismissal.

I don't love it. Other than the third player who was miles out, the others looked like they started in the crease and the bowler was deliberately playing for the mankad. Hard to tell from front on though.

Yeah more continued stupidity on behalf of the batting team rather than ruthlessness from the bowling side.

It's a shame there isn't video of Penrith's brave opening bowler bowling two consecutive quick bouncers that went over the head of our number 11 batsman who had already displayed no knowledge of where the previous balls were, in gloomy light, in order to try to increase their points from 11 to 12 in the game when they'd already won the league. Umpire should have given the two necessary warnings and taken him off, but didn't even no-ball him. Why can I never see these roar videos even when I'm logged in?

Good on him. I think it is funny when people complain about bowlers performing mankads as not being in the spirit of the game. However, the same people think it is ok for the non-striker to walk a considerable way down the pitch before/as the ball is being bowled. You would have thought that after the first mankad that the batting team would have been awake to the possibility.
