Should really bring in DRS, it wouldn’t take long to fix these issues and if it’s bluntly obvious like this then the TMO should be able to intervene. It’s just a joke and a wild lottery otherwise.
If you are incapable of hitting the ball off of the middle of the bat, you have to be out and give the next batsman a chance. People watch T20 for the runs and big hits.
Maybe it’s the latest rule change whereby during each game the umpire will give one decision which is the total opposite of the correct decision. It’s bound to keep the players and fans guessing, genius!

It’s a new rule. If you hit the ball onto your pads & the ball would have hit the stumps, you are out LBW. Simple.
