Hmmm. Warner and Bancroft premeditate a plan to tamper with the ball using sandpaper. Pooran picks at it spontaneously with a fingernail as he's shining it. And somehow these actions are equal?

You would get 12 months out of the game if he was an Australian.

It was deflection. Instead of accepting Warner has been a tool, he chose to moderate it by comparing to others. Kind of like saying Ivan Milat is alright cause he only killed 7 people. TEd Bundy is the real jerk. No, accept It. Warner was a jerk, and a cheat. He Got caught. He's lost any moral superiority for the rest of his career

Salty...And missed the point with an amazingly irrelevant post of deflection.

I must have missed the parts where Smith and Bancroft acted liked tosses for years. Care to enlighten? Yep. Only those nasty Aussies would ever have a system. All these other players and nations getting caught multiple times are super unlucky, always being found out just on these one-offs. Quite miraculous.

Except no one gives a flip about Pooran in England. Nor, quite importantly, has Pooran acted like a complete toss for years either. And - although can't prove - chances are this was a one off, and not a systematic scheme that went on unchecked for ages.

I say Ban him for a year and then send him to England where he can get booed by louts for four months straight.
