Yep.

Australian players weary, but there’s little respite in sight

Or they could work in an office, factory, construction site all week…

Meh…

The Black Caps are on a late-summer redemption mission

Short, short memories

Labuschagne fires but Australia lose again in South Africa

Nice innings by Labuschagne. As for this whole series, Australia’s batting looks too timid for 2020 (the year not T20).

Labuschagne fires but Australia lose again in South Africa

True. The batsmen did a great job…

Glenn Maxwell sorely missed as Australia lose in South Africa

Yeah, that’s it……

Aussies set to rediscover the joy of six in South Africa

That’s the problem but unfortunately smacking bowlers of the caliber of Clive Rose doesn’t really indicate International quality.

Aussies set to rediscover the joy of six in South Africa

I think you are overestimating the standard of the BBL.

Aussies set to rediscover the joy of six in South Africa

Are you suggesting a “team first” mentality?

Glenn Maxwell's injury exposes Australia's dearth of middle-order batsmen

This is because opening is the easiest position in limited overs cricket. The field is up, the ball is hard, and it makes guys look better than what they actually are. Middle/late order batsmen need to be busy and inventive to be successful. Openers can get away with thrashing over the infield. This is why guys like Stoinis and Short get exposed down the order.

Sheffield Shield once again a crucial battleground for Test spots

I don’t think they need a pace allrounder as Lyon and OKeefe are capable of bowling long spells. I’d be more inclined in picking 6 batsmen that can play spin and giving the bowlers something to defend.

Sheffield Shield once again a crucial battleground for Test spots

I actually preferred it as a state competition… it seemed to mean more.

Remembering the Big Bash before it became the BBL

They’ve got to up the standard. More quality International playing and less district cricketers. Batting numbers are inflated if you’re only having to see out one quality bowler. It’s also way too long. The International summer finishing January 5 was the killer blow. CA you’ve managed to stuff up the unstuffable.

Fan apathy for Stoinis shows growing understanding of T20 subtleties

Not the same…She’s standing up to 105kph

Aussie selectors set to Wade into the Marsh for last World Cup spot

BBL is such a low standard down from international’s.

No

Maxwell and Marsh among four inclusions as Australia name South Africa tour squads

Worst international summer on record. I personally missed our ODI summer. BBL is terrible. Over it.

Women’s T20 World Cup to bolster pedestrian international summer

Seems to be a common denominator doesn’t it?

England are cricket's new bad boys

BBL is a massive step down from Internationals. Batsmen are facing bowlers that aren’t good enough for first class cricket. It’s cheap entertainment.

Marcus Stoinis is merely a Big Bash bully

Rather use the lowest form of wit to make a point than be an angry man

Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler abuse cases evidence of a serious problem

Some people don’t get sarcasm and prefer anger to be their default.

How did you feel when Warner reacted to the provocation he received over there? …Or is that different?

Typical Ugly Aussies…
