The Canberra Raiders look to keep their top-four hopes alive against the Canterbury Bulldogs. Join The Roar for live scores from 6:30pm (AEST).

The Raiders dealt with the challenge posed by the Titans, coming away with a comfortable 36-16 win. The game will be remembered for that ankle tap, when a flying Josh Papalii raced 60 metres to stop Titans half Jamal Fogarty from scoring a certain try.

The Bulldogs will have unhappier memories of last weekend, twice surrendering a lead to the Warriors and throwing away a golden chance to move off the bottom of the ladder.

Steve Georgallis has responded to the capitulation by dropping prized English recruit Luke Thompson, along with Reimis Smith, Jack Cogger, Jake Averillo and Sauaso Sue. The coach is clearly trying to send a message that last week’s effort wasn’t good enough, which is admirable. Whether the Dogs have enough depth to make sweeping changes is another story.

Canberra will know a win is vital here, setting up a clash with the Roosters next week which could be decisive in who secures fourth position. Ricky Stuart’s charges have been good at beating teams below them on the ladder handily this season, and expect this to be no different.

The Dogs don’t deserve to be bottom of the ladder. The Broncos, on the other hand...

Cameron Smith is GOAT...? Are we sure? I reckon a team of 13 Jack Wightons beats a team of 13 Cam Smiths 7 days a week.

the obvious reason for this score line is the whole Canberra Stadium and Raiders team are in shock - Tolman has passed the ball on 3 separate occasions, they are not coping with this development.

About time...giving away set restarts on the 1st tackle is a blight on the rule

I did say there would be upsets this round and this is the match I was most worried about. If I had a dollar for every time the Raiders - when challenging for the top 4 - struggled against bottom 4 teams....
