It’s all about pride as the Manly Sea Eagles and the Wests Tigers face off to finish off their 2023 NRL season. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 6pm AEST.

In what has been a stop start season for the Sea Eagles, there are definitely good signs to build on for Anthony Seibold and his coaching staff heading into 2024. Tolu Koula remains at fullback with Reuben Garrick ruled out once again. Jakob Arhur gets another opportunity to showcase his skills in the halves with Josh Schuster unlikely to be recalled despite being named in the reserves list.

The Tigers have had a disappointing season once again as they look to the future. Skipper Api Koroisau is back in the halves with Jake Simpkin and Alex Twal returning from injuries. Having won only one away game this calendar year, Benji Marshall will be hoping his men can finish off 2023 on a high.

Prediction

Manly started their campaign with a thumping win at home. With nothing to lose for the hosts, expect skipper Daly Cherry-Evans to kick the Sea Eagles to a comfortable win with the Tigers receiving their second wooden spoon in consecutive years. Sea Eagles by 16

Congrats Manly. That will give you guys some cheer over the off season. I still have a soft spot for the Tiggers and their fans so let’s hope next year is way, way better. Thanks for the call Arnab.

FULL TIME MAN 54 WST 12 An outstanding performance by Manly as they never looked in danger. Any hint of space found led to tries being scored with so much ease. The Tigers concede a second consecutive wooden spoon to finish off their season. Thanks everyone for joining the blog. Off to a short break and I’ll be back for the main course - Rabbitohs vs Roosters.

Not sure why Manly attack is continuing to go left… Brad Parker, the prop in the centre’s jersey is killing every opportunity

Tries should be awarded on the vibe. And whether or not anybody will have their feelings hurt if it’s disallowed. We need one big fluffy safe space.
