The Melbourne Storm will be heavy favourites to make it seven straight wins when they tackle the last-placed Canterbury Bulldogs on the Sunshine Coast. Join The Roar for live scores from 3pm (AEST).
Since their narrow defeat to Penrith in mid-June, the Storm have been on an absolute roll. They’ve mixed hard-fought wins over the Roosters, Raiders and Knights with absolute beltings of the Warriors, Titans and Broncos. Just one point behind the ladder-leading Panthers, Craig Bellamy’s side is in the minor premiership conversation.
It’s a different story for the Bulldogs, who have just two wins to their name and sit two points clear at the foot of the table. That said, they’ve been much improved over the last three weeks, pushing the Dragons and Eels all the way and sneaking in an upset win over Newcastle between those losses.
Melbourne have won their last four matches against Canterbury, holding the Doggies to under 20 points on all four occasions. This will be the Bulldogs first ever match for premiership points at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Kick-off: 3pm (AEST)
Venue: Sunshine Coast Stadium
TV: Fox Sports
Live stream: Kayo Sports, Foxtel, NRL Live Pass

Another club needs to pick up Nicho Hynes. He deserves to be playing first grade. The Dogs could use him.

Gus had a 5 year plan for the Panthers. Breaking News_ Gus has a 20year plan for the Warriors.

Hmmm.. now that would tell some tales, see who was missing him.

He's the Steve Bradbury of the NRL coaches. Wonder if Brownie will recruit any Newcastle players.

Stormy, you've got an embarrassment of riches down there - damn you! ;) (Hope you Melburnians are doing okay!)

Very scrappy win, but, proud of the intent from our lesser known players. Hynes, another full- back - we certainly do know how to produce them.

Just watching some highlights of JAC, his stride seems a lot shorter this year. It feels like he has lost some pace.

That was a clear matter of the ref not believing how quick JAC is. He was calling him out the whole way. Glad he reviewed at least.
