The Eels will look to ride the high of Easter Monday’s win over the Tigers, playing their second game within a couple of weeks at Bankwest Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores and a blog from 4:05pm AEST.
There aren’t many stadiums where Parramatta have a perfect record, but they do at Bankwest, and they’ll be keen to keep it that way when they play a middle-of-the-road Dragons team.
The Dragons are about as 50/50 as you can get. They’ve won four, and lost three, have a points differential of just two, however they hold onto their top eight position by two match points, from the Sharks who faced off against the Storm yesterday, above a host of teams on four points.
As for Parramatta, they trail the Raiders – on 10 points – who round out the top four, following a prestigious cluster at the top, with South Sydney, Melbourne and the Roosters holding the top three places.
Parra sport wins over Penrith, Canterbury, Cronulla and the Wests Tigers, but losses to the Roosters, Raiders and Knights dampen that record.
The Dragons go into this game as slight underdogs, but prior to the Anzac Day loss to the Roosters, they’d won four on the trot, following a start where they lost to the Cowboys and Rabbitohs.
In team news, Daniel Alvaro comes back from a concussion which kept him out of last weekend’s loss, with Peni Terepo finding his spot on the bench and Ray Stone into the Parramatta reserve numbers.
Mikaele Ravalawa will start on the wing, pushing Zac Lomax to outside centre. Also, Euan Aitken falls back to the interchange, with Blake Lawrie set to run out at 13, leaving Jacob Host on the bench.
The fear for Parramatta is that the thrashing of the Wests Tigers may be a rare “good day” and while the bookies don’t agree, I’m tipping the visitors in this one.

First half maybe. Our second half was absolutely disgusting. Just about the worst I’ve seen the Dragons play in three or four years.

Parra 13+ was the tip of the week for me..glad to see they got there in the end even though the hard way, from what I saw it was one of the dragons better showings in 2019. Dragons have been average this year and were flattered by the scoreline last week which was more the result of the underwhelming roosters performance and attack without Keary... Parra were morals for mine - titans ruined a perfect week in tipping!

Loved watching that game, unfortunately not as close as some of us would've liked, however what a win to Parra in front of their own supporters. Well done to the Dragons for that first half as well though. A big thanks to you for joining me as well. Parramatta 32 St George Illawarra 18. Fulltime.

Evans, and Moeroa tried an offload, contact forced it forward. Dragons find Ravalawa who tried to find Seibold, but now a knockon and the clock will run down!!! It does, FULLTIME. FULLTIME. Eels 32 Dragons 18

Vaughan, now to Aitken and back to Host who kicks through and Parra work it up! They're 10 out. Parra keep moving up, Evans now, and Gutho into something of a gap. Moses kicks in behind, Ravalawa put down. Vaughan moves forward, Graham always is physical. Chip over the top, gathered by Alvaro. '80 Eels 32 Dragons 18

From the little I've seen of Reed Mahoney he might be worth a punt at Origin?

That's a trip to please the home team/fans insider. No push in the back. Eels have had a stack of penalties this half

Was that harsh? Parra now approaching the line, over to Fergo who drops it on the toe, goes dead and Dragons will take the 20m tap. '77 Eels 32 Dragons 18

Ferguson takes the short kickoff, he goes on a run before offloading back to...Was it Moses? Pereira jumped on him before he could catch it, and PEREIRA HAS BEEN SENT TO THE BIN. '76 Eels 32 Dragons 18
