What disappoints me is that they gave up. No wonder Border blew a gasket. All teams can have a bad game but the way Australia rolled over was a poor look for the team and Test cricket

Humiliated: Australia skittled in a session as Indian spinners set up innings victory

Is anyone really surprised by the result. We have been here before where NSW go into a match as the favourite then lose. Next step is mass changes for Game 2. Rinse and repeat

Origin boilover: Fittler fuming over slow ruck as Slater inspires Maroons to upset over shellshocked Blues

How slow is the Aussie innings? The last time Australia scored 500 in the first innings of a Test and scored at a slower rate than 2.8 runs per over was in 1955. Not many of us on here have been following cricket that long so for many its a very unusual batting performance from Australia

Cummins' captaincy questioned again as Australia fail to declare on Day 2

Madge lost the group last season, softened his stance and now back to square one. I really don’t see Madge as coach next year. The players lack leadership so it’s going to be ironic when player power gets rid of the coach. As a Tigers fan of 30+ years I have seen plenty of lows but last night was a rocket to the #1 position. Not playing as a team, arguing amongst themselves, the coach checks out at half-time etc They are not on the same page as a group. The only thing left for this season is to try and find something to build on for 2022

Tigers turn on each other in crushing loss

Exactly Nudge. If Stokes gets support around him how long until Australia starts to get nervous?

Australia in box seat to retain Ashes today

The changing demographics in Sydney and the upcoming second Nrl team in Brisbane will ensure that the Blues will wait a very, very long time until they dominate Origin/ build a dynasty. Add to that that currently losing a game seems to be ingrained in the blues culture (how many times have qld trailed then won it in the last 10-15 minutes) and we just don’t have the cattle to match the qld production line. When we do find someone like Mitchell (who admittedly had 2 poor games in a row) who can win a game, we crash and burn them. Only the predicted rain and unpredictable refs will keep nsw in the game tonight

Fittler’s selection changes might be the undoing of a dynasty

In my younger days I enjoyed Origin but now I couldn’t give a stuff. Every year it’s the same. The media and experts pump up NSW and they go out and find a way to lose. It seems to be a cultural issue because it doesn’t matter who wears the blue jersey. QLD just have to bide their time as they know NSW will choke. And really NSW will not be competitive until we have a strong halves combination that can control and seal a game. Keary will make a difference but who they do they put in next to him?

Queensland win again because they're better at Origin

The Roosters lack of depth and a glut of possession for the Knights was always going to be too much for the Roosters. The Roosters don’t seem to have anyone capable of directing the play with Cronk and Keary off the field. If Radley is a dummy half then Blocker Roach is a fullback.Ponga mentioned something about playing for the All Black a while back. Can we ban him from Origin lol Freddy is going to have nightmares trying to find a way to contain Ponga during Origin

It's official: Nathan Brown can coach and the Sea Eagles are questionable!

The Warriors game is a danger game for the broncos but then life gets easier. They have the bye, Titans, Eels and Knights. The only danger game is the unpredictable Eels at home. The potential is there for the broncos to now go 6 weeks without a loss

The Warriors are loving Kodi Nikorima and the Broncos are better off without him. Go figure!

If the Swans can play a full four quarters it might be close. Weather conditions might also keep it closer, but four goal victory is likely for Essendon

Sydney vs Essendon: Friday night forecast

The biggest issue with supporting the Tigers is that you just don’t know which team will turn up. If they are off mentally then you get the rubbish they put on against the Dogs and last week’s shocker against the Eels. It was an area of their game that I thought Madge would fix. Madge still has time but until the Tigers prepare well mentally, especially in games where they are favourite’s then they will continue to frustrate us fans
