Corey Horsburgh in hot water after being reported TWICE in trial games

By The Roar / Editor

Even by Corey’s standards, this wasn’t very smart.

Seriously that's not even worth viewing. More of a belly bump on his rather large tummy. Flegler's lifting between the legs was far more dangerous and intentional than this.

What a joke, penalty if that. One camera angle, deep serious voice-over, no vision of the 'first offense'. The Roar is really chasing clicks now. Rubbish.

He might use it as a defence, it wasn't two shoulder charges sir, the photo is fuzzy and it just looks like two.

When he first came into first grade at the start of 2019 Horsburgh played with loads of aggression but also a real lack of discipline and he was a bit of a liability. Ricky Stuart got the penalties out of his game really quickly and he's been good since. I expect what happened in the trials on the weekend was a result of frustration and over-eagerness from having to sit out most of last season, combined with the kind of laziness in going through the full process of any given tackle which is seen pretty commonly in trials as players try to preserve themselves for the real games.

Stare at it long enough and you'll see Ricky blaming the media

Is it just me or does the still shot look like a magic eye puzzle.

His first one was better! :stoked: He obviously can't continue with this rot but he was easily the best forward on the field in the earlier game and good runs with an offload in the second. If he wakes up to himself off the field, he might be in for a big one on the park.
