I hate the "you haven't played" argument. I've watched a lot of football and am entitled to my opinion. In some ways, views of impartial, non-involved observers are more insightful than those of insiders, who can be too close to things happening in the game.
Anyway, Gould's argument is astonishingly arrogant. If he doesn't think fans are entitled to express valid opinions, let me know and I'll cease being a fan
I normally don't watch the post game stuff, knowing it will be dribble. But was interested to hear what Robinson had to say. I was right, it was dribble. I turned off straight after they showed Robinson, any longer watching and I would have spewed.

Unbelievable. 1)It was a shoulder charge, followed by 2) A swinging arm and 3) It was high causing 4)A broken jaw. Its crystal clear. Most fans have "never played the game" but we watch it and essentially pay for it. We demand action. There is no place for this in the game or the commentary on it from the so called experts.

He's been consistent in his belief that stars shouldn't be suspended and that fines are preferable.
It's a criminally dangerous position to take.
He would condone weaponry on the park if it was a star player holding it.
