The veteran official has officiated more than 350 games, and the round 25 clash between the Dragons and South Sydney was his last. Players from both teams gave him a guard of honour.

I remember his start as a ref back in WA a nice guy til the end. Another ref back at the same time in WA was Ted Goodwin.
