Sterlo's cheeky dig at QLD's 'poaching' history amid injury crisis

By The Roar / Editor

Queensland are in the midst of major injury drama as the 2020 State of Origin series draws closer, with the likes of Kyle Feldt, Moses Mbye, Michael Morgan and Valentine Holmes all in doubt for at least Game 1 of the November series.

The retired legend had a tongue-in-cheek suggestion for Kevin Walters on Wide World of Sports’ “Sterlo’s Wrap” to deal with the crisis: let’s be honest, would anyone be surprised if the Maroons actually do just that?

Sterlo played when the rules were black and white - where you were registered on your 16th birthday. That was the rule from day one, until Gallop changed the rules to be a free for all.
