The Hurricanes will be without Xavier Numia and Asafo Aumua, but Jason Holland has welcomed back Dane Coles in what shapes as the veteran hooker’s last home game. Join The Roar for live scores from 5.05pm AEST
The 36-year-old World Cup-winner will hang up the boots at season’s end, bringing an end to the rake’s illustrious career.
Coles, who led the Hurricanes to their first Super Rugby title in 2016, has battled calf and concussion injuries for most of the season but makes a timely return.
The Hurricanes have named a strong side for what is their final home game of the season against the Crusaders, with Brett Cameron at fly-half.
Crusaders coach Scott Robertson meanwhile isn’t taking the foot off the gas either, with Scott Barrett returning at blindside flanker while Will Jordan has also been named at fullback.
The Crusaders will likely finish second on the Super Rugby standings, with the Hurricanes hoping the Brumbies slip up against the Rebels so they can sneak a home quarter-final.

Haha. My sporting achievements… you are the one commenting about a legend of the game and demeaning his achievements… for what reaaon. And you think for me to call you on it requires me to establish my credentials… it is you who has deluded himself to think you speak on behalf of the rugby world… that is embarassing.. I don’t speak on behalf of anyone.. i’ll leave that to self-important idi0ts like you. As fot garbage argument…I’m not making one.. I was just pointing out that not many people could care less what a little man sitting in his living room types on his keyboard.. and that there are a lot of players and coaches who respect him… but you are welcome to believe whatever the voices in your head tell you.

Sorry who is having a cry? Lol you're embarrassing yourself. Do let me know of your own personal international rugby achievements... Garbage argument from a pure troll The rugby world knows Coles is a grub and will be happy to see the back of him

Yeah will you and Bloubul’s opinions don’t represent fans or people that I imagine any of Coles team mates, coaches, fans, opposition players could give a continental about… you will always find random nobodies who will be whinging about something… but yeah its everyone else with their head in the sand… He was a large part of why the Hurricanes won tonight… but there will always be those like yourself that will find something to detract from a player who has played for over a decade a the very highest level on their final home game.

It'll be interesting! He's certainly a good leader, which is the main thing. Former Canes assistant too.

If any of those games have a Kiwi ref in it the Force is doomed.

This just show that even a grub can be a legend of something in someone's eyes.

Hopefully the Canes coaching team take a hard look at how the Chiefs dismantled the Brumbies maul.
