Adelaide United host the in-form Western United in a match that looks set to have a major impact on the top six. Stay up to date with what’s happening at Coopers Stadium with live scores on The Roar from 7:35pm (AEDT).

A win would be massive for the home side, and would see them leap into second spot on the A-League ladder. They will be longing to display the form they showed in a six-week winning streak mid-season, and to redeem themselves from the last-gasp penalty that cost them a draw against Wellington last round.

Western United, on the other hand, sit precariously in sixth, and just a point ahead of the seventh-placed Brisbane Roar having played an extra match, defeat could prove costly come season’s end.

Just having a dig at Andy who always complains about his belief that east coast teams have a favourable run with fixtures.

I dunno if your taking the Mickey, noting there's 24 games with 12 teams.

Make sure you get to the game tonight. Should be even more intense than last night. Great atmosphere Some cracking goals? Red cards? VAR howlers? Coaches carded? Perhaps all of the above.

Things always equal out over a year - like fixtures (home and away) as well.

Of course it's evened itself out, that game against Wellington both their goals had handballs in the build up that weren't called. Decisions always equal themselves out, you either accept them or you don't, simple as that

yeah, all that, but it was a one-off game, independent of all others. This equalisation theory has no basis in fact. SA bias I detect.

Non match related, I recommend everyone watch and listen to the last 5 mins of rudans press conference. He says almost word for word what I have been on about here all season about getting everyone on board. Very passionate speech

No one was robbed, decisions always equal themselves out over the course of the season. A good point for them, not so much for us. Brisbane and Wellington next for the 2 teams, it's just crunch game after crunch game until the end of the season now

Big changes? Lol we had an off night, it happens. The team will be fine, we take the draw and move on to another crunch match against Wellington

Because it is match of the round, neither side wanted that result. All It does is congest the top 6. We take the draw and move on

He did a tactical foul about 2 seconds before your post and got a yellow for it?? I'm not calling him a thug, it's your definition.

pretty poor from the refs and rules, though WUN were robbed. What I don't get about the offside VAR is, when do they freeze play to draw the line? The Fox boys said technology freezes both together - but that doesn't mean anything if they freeze play half a second too late. Do they freeze the moment someone judges the foot touches the ball? They're measuring in mm. so a frame or two either way will move the line. I liked Harps suggestion of a margin of error, a purple line.

My bad bossman, you said "match of the round". Don't know if that means entertaining to you.

AA, you were out played by 10 men, well done you needed a dodgy VAR call to salvage a draw. lossing with 10 happens, lossing against 10 not so much.
