Looking to entrench themselves in the top six, Sydney FC have to get past Perth Glory – a club breathing down their necks. Stay up to date with their A-League clash with live scores on The Roar from 7:05pm (AEST).
The Sky Blues flexed their muscle on Sunday night against their old rivals, Melbourne Victory, in a comprehensive 3-0 win. Sydney’s grip on sixth spot is still far from assured – given the three sides beneath them are within five points and have two games in hand – but they can put some much-needed distance between themselves and one of those chasers tonight.
Perth came off second best against Macarthur FC in their clash on Friday night and find themselves continually unable to make up the ground they need to if they want to play finals this season. Glory held Sydney to a 1-1 draw when they played two weeks ago, but will find the going a lot tougher away from home and simply must pick up points to stay in the race.

I can't figure out why a penalty was not given for the challenge on Armiento other than perhaps they thought he lost control and never was going to get to the ball. But that shouldn't be a consideration, and is not part of the Laws of the Game. If it's a foul it's a foul as long as the ball is still in play. On to other matters, Barbarouses seems to be getting back in form just as the business end of the season arrives.

Lol sa conspiracy, that's right were playing 7 games in a row in south Australia, I forgot about that lol. The only conspiracy is the blatant east coast one

Check the Richard Garcia press conference, he made reference to the east coast bias which all you east coasters think doesn't exist (it clearly does)

Come and gloat when you are top after the scheduled rounds (22). Adelaide are coming 4th. In their next 8 scheduled rounds they play WSW (6th) MAC (3rd) SFC (5th) WUN (7th and a game in hand to ADL) and MCI (2nd). If you pick up enough points to be leading at that stage people may start believing you. Until then your relative high position on the table is part of a vast South Australian conspiracy in the scheduling so far.

You realise we have 2 home games in hand right? We should be top by next week. 6 wins out of 7 isn't a slide
