Perth Glory have confirmed the signature of Uruguayan striker Bruno Fornaroli for the next two A-League seasons, ending his troubled tenure at Melbourne City.
Despite scoring 46 goals in 70 games for City, Fornaroli was overlooked this season by coach Warren Joyce.
The 31-year-old is ineligible to play for the Glory until next season, when he’ll form a dangerous strike force alongside Andy Keogh and Diego Castro.
More to come.

Poor signing unless Perth are going to ditch Castro. You have two of the best through ball hitters in Castro and Kilkenny they dont need an aging hold up player.

Perth must know something about the salary cap being scrapped?

So Perth Glory are now in the business of signing Hollywood grade actors.

That’s some squad. Did Fornaroli take a pay cut? Expect a hat trick vs City away first up ????

So glad that he is not lost to the A League. If he is fit and well and firing on allhis 12 cylinders, the Perth attack will improve out of sight. Keogh is no slouch but he stuffs up his fair share of opportunities/half chances etc and surely this will help. Can’t help but wonder why MC would let him go though - I’m looking at who has replaced him?

Perth should loan Fornaroli to the Mariners for the rest of the season.
