If I felt like generalising to bait and deride I would say some posters are probably the type of person who insists the cashier at ALDI bag their groceries and stand back with their arms crossed, as “it’s their job”. Gladys having been rebuked by the Federal Government 12 months ago for her bureaucracy’s poor handling of the Ruby learned from that and when there was an outbreak on the Northern beaches, employed contact tracing and closed that specific area. Within a week they were confident they’d sufficiently contained that they had crowds at a Test match with no subsequent outbreak. sounds like effective management. Meanwhile with 12 months of examples and a large country town as a capital Western Australia’s leader won’t have a hit and giggle match because his employees aren’t confident in the processes working elsewhere. Looks more like a leader in election mode than management.

Another final for Manuka. There have been some great contests here this season. Hopefully this proves what a great venue this is for future seasons - if and when we return to normality.
