Ever heard the expression when you hear the sound of hooves think horses not Zebra's. Or if its a choice between a conspiracy or stuff up always choose stuff up. You can think Sheedy is playing some sort of 3 dimensional chess if you want, I will go with stuff up.

Yep Dougie, think Rozee will have a great career,he is so versatile also, played in the backline for north adelaides' premiership team,he could play wing

Yeah I read R ozee carried an injury all year too, and I thought he was electric against Richmond in the PF. I like Duursma but I'd take Rozee first by a long way.

Hearing 10-15 range ,apparently Essendon are keen on him so they might be the bidders if it comes earlier than expected

It was taking the mickey, it just wasn't taking the mickey out of Geelong though. Have you ever heard the expression 'if haven't heard a rumour by 10:00am, start one'?

Oh yeah, Geelong have all 3 so writing them on the board was a hilarious jape at the Cats expense! Seriously, if you think that is taking the mickey you are doing it wrong.

Why should Carlton gamble anything?

Maybe you should have a think and a little smile to yourself about who currently has picks 13 + 20 and Menagola

If you say so, of course it makes no reference to GWS, mentions Fantasia and Menengola has nothing to do with the Cameron trade, not to mention the Bombers have their own troubles getting multiple trades across the line but other than that it is an hilarious parody.

Interestingly, the good AFL journos reporting on the Peter Wright trade are no longer speculating over whether or not the Suns will pay part of the ongoing contract. Some ordinary journalists are persisting with it though, which is really just scuttlebutt. Clearly, the Bombers have lowballed on the trade in terms of draft points and the Suns have dumped the entire salary. The fact that Wright had 2 years to go and the Bombers have offered him 3 years suggests that they've taken on his salary and are spreading it over the extra year, no doubt with caveats and performance triggers. Have a look at Jesse Hogan's new contract with GWS. Same thing. As long as the player is guaranteed the money, contracts can be redrawn. If Big Pete gets on the field, plays as many games as possible and kicks 150 goals in the next 3 years, he's probably going to get his huge payday. Suns fans wanted to see the big fella attract a bigger trade value, but the Suns needed a list spot and cap breathing room.

Yes, you said 1 mil a year. He's contracted for 5 years so that says 5 mil. Pretty simple really, it's your own words. You can try to twist them all you like but they are your words in the context of how you said them, not how you wanted to say them a few hours later

No, mate. I said "I don’t think he’s worth $1 million a year and neither did the Suns". I don't understand how more black and white I can make it for you.

2020 stats have an asterisk, but they were very close to his career stats. Except 2019, when he actually player quite well apart from when he broke his hand, tried to come back into the team too soon, had an absolute mare and got dropped to find form. That's when he was best afield in the NEAFL against the undefeated Lions and almost won the game single handedly, but he got injured again, LionsB ended up winning the NEAFL undefeated and Jack had a gigantic sook. Adam Saad is worth somewhere between 8 and 29. What he's worth exactly is hypothetical because it isn't what will go down in the trade. Blues should gamble their future first. If they make finals then the Bombers only get a late pick. The lower they finish, the better the pick gets. Maybe involve a third club? Adelaide gives up 9 to Bombers, gets Blues future first, Blues get Saad.

You could say that about every player in the country, drawing at straws to try to get whatever your point is across. And you said a million a year which says that you misread your point

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's really just Sheedy taking the mickey. It's a reference to the current impasse between GWS and Geelong over the Cameron trade

If he demands to leave when contracted he has to leave on the Blues terms, Gibbs wanted to leave a year before he did but the Blues held him because he was contracted

I am taking his 2020 stats. Again what do you think Saad is worth?

Buddy, you misread what I said. It's ok, really. I think you're also missing the point, but that's fine too. Jack Martin could leave Carlton at any time in the next 4 years. On the contract that he had, $2 million for the first 2 years and about $400K a year for years 3, 4 and 5, if he demands to leave to go back to WA early he'll have been paid between $700 and $1 million a year by Carlton. Would you trust Jack's player agent that far? Do some research. Worst agent in the business. Only has one player. Used car salesman.
