It’s a blockbuster to begin AFL Round 15 as the Brisbane Lions and Geelong Cats do battle at The Gabba. Stay up to date with the action on The Roar with live scores from 7:30pm (AEST).
Firmly entrenched in the top four and with their poor start to 2021 a thing of the past, the Lions will be looking to prove themselves against a fellow contender after their last attempt didn’t end well. Their last match before the bye saw them forfeit a 20-point half time lead against Melbourne to go down by 22 points. Brisbane look the goods, but they’d be looking to get the job done tonight.
Geelong enter tonight’s clash on the back of a six-game winning streak that’s included the very impressive scalps of Richmond, Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs. They’re within striking distance of top spot and a win tonight would at least all but guarantee them a top four spot at the end of the season.
The Lions have a terrible recent record against Geelong, losing 11 of the last 12 – including the last three in a row. That recent streak included a 40-point defeat (at home) in last year’s preliminary final, as well as Round 2’s controversial one-point loss in Geelong.

Due for a loss. Been stuffed around with corona restrictions. Got jumped and could not do enough to get back. Still worst loss since.. forever. If the Dons challenged next week I would be seriously concerned. The worst thing about the loss was that it pulled the Toad from under the rock.

She's actually pretty good if I don't say so myself. I've managed to convert her into the cult of Nic Nat and Liam Ryan. A treasure

Exciting times. I'll be heading down south so trying to get the wife to drive so I can watch

no, but I favour Melbourne and Brisbane to win more of the hard ball against them and dominate the midfield. Obviously all teams try hard, but some will prevail.

You underestimate dogs physicality!

Agree Diesel. Cats are very ordinary anywhere but GMHBA against good opposition. Actually they're pretty shaky there also. I can totally see the Bomber rolling them!

Dogs were superb against Geelong . There in it up to there necks. West coast are the danger . There lurking , & will be stalking the top 4 in a month.

Yet the AFL write ups today are talking how “ danger “ is back . There so pro Geelong it ain’t funny. I’d love nothing more than Essendon to do a number on the cats next week ! I’d love to think Carlton could also, but sadly Carlton are struggling to break thru the banner ATM .
