I DO hate Hawthorn, and am only too happy to admit it :happy: If it weren’t for WCE I would currently be having happy daydreams of them getting a nice piece of wooden cutlery this year. But I still reckon Collingwood had more gears to go through if Hawthorn had hit the front. I said (paraphrasing myself here) that Collingwood had stopped but had done enough to win, and history has proven me correct. I am ready to accept your apology at any time :silly:

Not sure what you were expecting based on the comment, but to me it meant Collingwood had taken their foot completely off the gas and would only do just enough to get a win. Seems a pretty good description of what played out?
