No disrespect to your mob, but they don’t have the firepower to put 89 points on a premiership defence. The Cats have issues, or they fell asleep at the wheel. I’m hoping it’s the latter but I’m not convinced.

ABC commentator gave votes half way through third quarter. Cameron 'BOG' failed to score from then on. Cats outscored by five goals from that point on. Complacency, took foot off gas, managing players? Or just outplayed?

The game didn't blow out as much as it looked it might. Not sure starting kayo today would of been worth it given all the complaints.

The path is set and wce are showing improvement in their mental and game plan application. Considering the side we took in this was another step forward so I've got no complaints as young teams do get touched up during a game by reigning premiers and the previous years premiers as they did the last 2 rounds.

Young side against a seasoned professional side who will likely make the prelims I am stoked with mental application shown by wce, the road back won't be as long as some say but touch-up by better sides will happen and Geelong at this point are much better unsurprisingly.

Scott will be s#1t livid with the Cats’ defence today. They don’t need to play anywhere near full tilt but a Premier should be better at mitigating a team like West Coast from scoring.

Good job from West Coast. This could have easily ended in a 100+ point mauling.

Considering the AFL only just authorised such a salary dump its pretty obvious never. Every club had the same chance to do what Geelong did. Same rules, same opportunity. Geelong got it done, the others didn’t. Hawthorn even offered Bowes a bigger contract and he passed.

Well this game has gone to script, anyone with a minor knowledge of footy would have guessed this so again I'm happy with what I'm seeing from a side in wce position. Anyone who gets their WA footy news from a Facebook feed with zero investigation will go look at the wafl result but seeing as that side is 3 quarters amateurs and country league who come in for a season then go again due to wafl rules it's not as concerning as they may think.
