A everyday middle aged wce supporting west Australian dad and husband, blue collar former foreman so no bells and whistles here-no matter your background, socio economic standing, education level, race and sexual orientation I couldn't care just don't be a noodle. Accept I will disagree with you but don't be offended if I respond with an opinion that you might not like-to old to Molly coddle grown men who don't have a broad mind. family comes first but my chihuahua, vinyl, vintage band shirts, stereo and various other speakers and headphones and obviously my orbital mixer for pavs, cheesecake, cakes, sponge, scones come in behind the wifey a kiddos. Stay cool, realise not everyone reflects your ways and some are more used to blunt language and open minds and measured but lively thrust and parry conversation especially regarding footy but don't argue silly and pointless stuff with me and don't get uppity because I'm not articulating myself in the way you've decided the world should act and I will offer the same courtesy to however you wish to present yourself. If my grammar is shite build a bridge, if I come across grumpy I probably am so get over it, troll me then get a life and get over it, if there are auto correct mistakes I'm not editing because I reckon you will be able to work it out and if you can't just ask me if that was a mistake if this bothers get over it. Life is to short and to much fun for me to be worried by internet ppl but I will happily engage in banter and shit and giggles, I have a long rope, thick skin and I make a glorious Yuzu sling so don't be a dick to me and we'll all play hard and fair with the energy of a 1984 van Halen road crew.

No real legal status as it’s just an AFL investigation. Can be taken to the courts though but no one involved has indicated via themselves or legal reps that it would happen, though I do understand f@gan has a KC so to represent himself so oof who knows. Personally having gone through a stressful insurance case that took over 2 years of investigation I’m not surprised it’s taking this long.

'Destroyed the fabric of this guy': North great takes aim at racism process after Clarkson stands down

It was heading this way with clarko the moment Mitchell came back, it’s unhealthy the amount of vitriol he harboured then. The further issues with Hawthorn has only compounded it all into the bitterness that’s transpiring. I have no qualification so take this with a pinch of salt.

Clarkson stand-down the inevitable consequence of racism investigation botched from start to finish

But is the economic strength of the Tassie Govt such that such things are affordable? Or they will be in a position to borrow to attract such events? Or cover the loss such events would make to attract large events? It’s one thing to have a stadium but it needs to cover its costs and any possible increase in costs and does 7 AFL games do that? Which is it’s only guaranteed income at this moment

Tasmania doesn't need a new stadium - shame on the AFL for forcing us into building one

Tassie won’t get man U & leeds staying for a week, 2 Perth only Coldplay concerts, Tottenham, state of origin, Bledisloe cup etc like Perth or will it be financially viable for the big acts like Adele, Ed Sheeran etc so besides AFL and maybe cricket what economic big events will the stadium create long-term outside initial construction

She’s married to Jack Ryan rowdy, do you want that sort of international incident 😁

Tasmania doesn't need a new stadium - shame on the AFL for forcing us into building one

Reality is Tassie should of been put in before wce but that didn’t suit the VFL clubs, now it is going to cost a ridiculous amount to establish and participation rates for those next generation of Tassie stars are choosing world game, basketball or video games and heaps of other options instead of footy.

Gov was broken ribs last year and watch the incident where gov tears hammy from bone again no amount of foresight could stop that.

Six Points: The move to save the Swans' season, the worst thing a fan can do, and why the Blues are closer than you think

It’s the Luigi factor, a bit like Lygon street 😛

Six Points: The move to save the Swans' season, the worst thing a fan can do, and why the Blues are closer than you think

Alot are collision based/plain accidents that no allied health or medical professional could stop even the soft tissue injuries are unfortunately part of a high running and throwing your body around into unnatural position game. Really you’re referring to Shuey, Yeo, nic Nat and reality is a recurring hammy over 30 is common, Yeo started as op a difficult injury to treat and will cause other leg issues and Achilles far out again bloody hard to treat especially a older, bigger player. The enquiry idea is a over reaction and if we look at just the last 2 rounds no physio can stop an AC, broken nose, fractured arm.

Six Points: The move to save the Swans' season, the worst thing a fan can do, and why the Blues are closer than you think

Why for the life of me you keep saying injuries are an excuse when discussing multiple sides this year when anyone with any long-term interest in sport knows they are the most valid reason you’ll see if a side is faltering or not apparently meeting expectations that have zero fluidity to them. Which area did Freo dominate that we have not seen this season? Tall forwards, where is Sydney greatest issue? Tall defenders. It’s not rocket science and a side who is missing good talls in defence which catapulted the gf charge last season or a side like wce having near 50% of the squad injured and are struggling or even Essendon suddenly dropping off from earlier form is footy and injuries are a reason actually the biggest reason but everyone seems obsessed with esoteric opinion instead.

Footy Fix: From the big dance to disaster in ten games - understanding the Swans' almighty fall from grace

End of the day if you kick like that for goal the Oppo will struggle to get the win. A win against wce when they couldn’t break it open till nearly 3qt and Geelong kicking like a busted something something doesn’t really bode rebirth. If Richmond mange to win 8 of the next 10 maybe decent evidence is there but anything else would be over reacting.

Footy Fix: Are Richmond back... or is the Tiger time machine good for one trip only?

Clarko must be damn salty that Adelaide and Pyke got brought down by the intellectual paper the age and it’s the hun that’s causing his grief 😂

AFL News: Van Rooyen verdict in, Clarko savages 'shameful' Hawks racism investigation

So in Jordan Lewis life if you don’t agree with him and state a unpopular opinion that could be weighted to your own club and your mate then you should be derided hey. If jvr is found guilty at the appeals board it’s not a chicken little moment it will go away quickly like the whole bump hooha, probably lead to a state of the game discussion that always come around the bye. Personally I think he should go for 2, it was a reckless act and he stuffed it bad luck.

AFL News: Van Rooyen verdict in, Clarko savages 'shameful' Hawks racism investigation

Could go either way, was it a footy incident or did he take his eyes of the ball seems to be the arguments. Personally the sky won’t fall in if he’s made to sit out two weeks and it isn’t past tribunals over the years to use something to make a broader point. Sadly it’s just more footy being decided by a QC which is tiresome imho

AFL News: Rioli learns tribunal fate, Dees challenge 'fabric of the game' verdict, Northern Territory expansion?

Carlton is like a bottom end Audi, has the badge but that’s the only thing high end about it or in footy terms they are like early 90s st Kilda, seem to have the amazing parts required but only splutter along.

Michael Voss has Carlton shaping as a bottom six candidate

My kids have just got home and asked what’s for tea, I said tuna patties and damn I copped a few boos, Collingwood supporters I hold you to account.

TOM MORRIS: Buddy booing is a blight on the game and McRae must send a powerful message to Magpies fans

Bucks you weren’t this vocal of pies supporters booing Sheed in 2018 gf trying to put him off nor when gaff played his first game back after his suspension for Brayshaw hit versus the pies at mcg. Franklin is a champion but he’s also been a filthy player so Dave the hysterical reaction.

AFL News: Pies apologise for Buddy booing as Buckley blasts fans, Swans' 'dirty' Daicos tactics slammed

It’s the old on paper lulling ppl in again, warms the cockles every year as ppl start questioning their beliefs.

Footy Fix: The Blues have a serious problem - they're far too easy to beat

Probably because you realise the FIFA, NFL and NBA games lead to participants AA nd for Aussie rules to continue it needs a strong game keeping the current teens/youth to be engaged?

'Had me in tears', 'complete mess': Uproar over AFL game's hilarious glitches as developer issues statement

Dunno, if the obh and cott are still like they where young blokes can find Perth very enticing.

'Who are they going to be?' Time for Freo to figure out what they stand for

Fair enough that isn’t my experience, I had no VFL allegiance so wce was an easy decision and when Freo arrived I never lived anywhere close to Freo or supported East’s/south or Claremont for neesham connection so went to alot of Freo games 95 but didn’t feel right.

AFL News: Dangerfield's radical Tasmania recruiting plan, Riewoldt backs state to entice players

Dunno, ppl in WA with firm allegiance to another VFL/AFL club didn’t cross to wce or Freo but then again none would buy a membership for 2 sides either.

AFL News: Dangerfield's radical Tasmania recruiting plan, Riewoldt backs state to entice players

It’s spot on cam, the comp is expanding beyond the talent available and the population of Australia will never reach a population in which it’s viable. Us kids of the 60s-80s didn’t have the plethora of sporting/entertainment options the kids have today, add to that simply kids struggle to get to out of school activities as mum and dad work full-time mostly on 24/7 rosters, society is no longer conducive to the majority of talent playing cricket in the summer and footy in the winter and more and more pvt school footy is the feeder where team sports are compulsory more often.
Melbourne has had to many teams for to long and only certain clubs continue to expand the supporter base as the population grows there so something has to give, GCS though I enjoy watching them have a win it’s much like watching the bears back in the day and gws is Toby that’s the only reason anyone tunes in honestly. Ppl want a reflection of the USA sporting landscape then we need to be as brutal, the EPL as well the major euro leagues operate on a cash is king basis and it won’t be long till the AFL will have to leave the socialist model especially as it’s unlikely the streaming wars will go on and the commercial dollar is spread thinner and federal governments looking to kick the opposition whilst down and out are splashing cash under a guise of we care won’t always exist for new ventures. Everything changes and the glory chasing ceo and chairman that the VFL/AFL has had since wce has been in the comp has to be a thing of the past if the AFL is to continue being a high quality product because honestly no rule change can even the talent pool and long-term viability issues blind Freddy can see.

Welcome Tasmania, but the AFL should be a 16-team competition so three clubs must go

When roos beat wce then Freo it was hoorah the roos, when wce beat gws and only multiple injuries derailed them hoorah wce, Easter Monday when Geelong destroyed Hawthorn it was booooo Hawthorn but a couple of competitive losses whilst the other 2 face differing issues it’s become yay Hawthorn. Those 3 sides are equally bad along with Freo so to say one is a better than the other is a foolish game. I’d love wce to be able to make 5 changes to rest players and help development but ain’t going to happen and lethargic performance is going to happen but after Easter Monday and last night’s matches none of the likely 3 bottom sides are any better or worse than the other they are equally bad with some bad teams above them and some future bad teams above them…the daily footy news cycle continues unabated

Footy Fix: Superbly coached, well-disciplined and ferocious - the Hawks are the best bad team you'll see

I stopped going to live footy in 06 when at a derby a group of drunk docker supporters spat on me for no reason other than I’m an eagles supporter.

Fan behaviour is ruining the AFL match-day experience
