The Port Adelaide Power and St Kilda Saints wrap up an action-packed Anzac Day weekend of footy when they play at Adelaide Oval. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 6:40pm (AEST).
It’s been a sublime fortnight for Port Adelaide after their dispiriting loss to West Coast two weeks ago. They played a superb four quarters to eke out a two-point win over Richmond, before taking care of business against Carlton last week. They’re strong favourites against St Kilda this evening, but will be wary of a club smarting after a heavy loss.
As encouraging as St Kilda’s response was to their horror show against Essendon a few weeks ago was, all the goodwill they generated from that comeback win over West Coast was tossed out the window after they failed to fire a shot once more against Richmond last Thursday night. It was a truly deplorable effort by a side with sights on a top four berth and one that will demand another response.
The Saints scored a famous 29-point over the Power in last year’s meeting, ending a run of eight straight wins for Port in this fixture. St Kilda’s two wins at the Adelaide Oval last season were their first ever at the venue after ten consecutive losses.

the story i was told, again hearsay just to cover my own backside but I'd believe who told me if I had to put money on it but the word was definitely attitude, apparently when training had finished etc, players would go work on something personally they needed to improve/work on etc but apparently not chad, he'd go do what he'd want to do, like playing playstation or the like as apparently he didn't need to work on anything in his mind, He was already good enough. One thing I picked up personally with him, was the difference in work rate when he played half forward to midfield, he seemed to work a hell of alot harder playing midfield then he did forward, again attitude, he wanted to be a midfielder not a forward. I think it was his last year with us but in roughly 4 rounds I think it was he'd laid like 1 or 2 tackles as a half.forward but when Ken put him in the midfield where he stated he wanted to be bang, he got like double or 3 times as many in one game, total attitude and work rate change. Think ive got that out right.lol. Not having a go at chad either I was pretty pissed when we let.him go but then after the things i heard and then who and what we got, cha ching. We defs won that exchange I'd say.

All you have to do is have a look at Chad and how he goes about it to know what you're dealing with, that's why I think most Port Adelaide fans were like, oh well, ok. Plus we got Burton and I think Butters from that trade, it was an enormous win, Burton is an absolute gun. Overall you're right, we know nothing compared to these coaches, Ports recruiting team has to be one of the best going round....bravo

100% and from what I'm told chad and Dougal were very similar in why we let em go, apparently attitude was part of the problem. Hearsay of course but some reliable sources told me of both situations, I think chad more so than Dougal fell into this category. But in the long run has defs worked out best for us.

I hope Dougal has a good career,if he stayed we perhaps dont get Georgiades and probably wouldnt have aquired Aliir Aliir.I am happy the direction the club choose, had a little bit of the Wingard scenario about it at the time with club supporters and members reactions

Winner winner, chicken dinner. I really did doubt letting Dougal go when we did but considering the pick we got we picked up geogie porgie. In hindsight I think the club and recruiting team did a dam good job and I know nothing, I see nothing, I hear nothing, i know nothing.:)

Should they sack Hinkley and replace him with Longmire?

Is St Kilda or Carlton worse? If those two teams were to play, who would win?
