St Kilda face a tough challenge to turn their patchy form around when they take on Brisbane at Marvel Stadium. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:50pm (AEST).
The Saints haven’t won consecutive games since starting the season 4-0, with last week’s loss to Richmond leaving them in danger of losing touch with the top four.
They face an in-form Lions outfit welcoming back Hugh McCluggage from concussion, and will face an almighty challenge to avoid losing back-to-back games for the first time since Ross Lyon took over.
Venue: Marvel Stadium, Melbourne

I do not rate him he was reliant on the good work of Mark Harvey at Fremantle and Grant Thomas at St Kilda for his success there and now he’s got a bang average list so the flaws in his coaching methodology are coming to the fore the saints should’ve stuck with Ratts

Feel like Brisbane needs Gunston and Rich back and firing to win the premiership. Too many of their players seem to have dropped off a notch this year. And the Saints, though they have the easiest draw, may drop out of the 8.

Both our big boys (Hippy and Joe ) been pretty consistent this season. I challenge any key Forward to continually shine and dominate when it’s just hack it or bang it forward strategy every freaking week no matter the oppo…

I’m pretty pumped. First time this year I’ve tipped the first two games. Even better, all the leaders in my work comp tipped Melbourne and the Saints. I’m now only 8 behind the other 26 people in front of me, most of whom couldn’t name an AFL team outside the Swans.

I can certainly see a bit of Cousins in him. Good call.

To be honest, I’m not sure what Voss likes. He makes life interesting, though, for Carlton fans and that’s always enjoyable to read…especially on this forum.

True, but he can also take an A1 list, like the 09’ Saints, and lose with them too. He’s a special talent our Ross.

Young Ashcroft reminds me of a young cousins or young Gaz jr in the way he moves.

This game was kept nicely predictable, if anything Ross can clog a game up to keep average lists competitive.

Vossy doesn't even like defence.

Considering how negative the Saints have played, I’ve enjoyed watching the Lions. They’ve put in a very good 4 quarter performance tonight.

That sounds very much like something Voss is good at.

Ross has not changed. Hates goals still. You could put Cameron, Larkey, Curnow up there and he’d still find a way to stuff them up.

Doc, the Saints weren’t gonna win this game anyway, they’ve been beyond poor. But it’s aggressively annoyed me to see a player get penalised for reacting to another player playing on like that. Given what’s happened in the five minutes since then, it’s evidently dispirited the Saints too. Edit: sorry, didn’t see your agreement til just now. We agree to agree then lol.
