Sydney are out to get back on the winners’ list when they host Port Adelaide at the SCG. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:30pm (AEST).
The Power are under heavy pressure following a pair of losses, the latest a Showdown defeat to archrivals Adelaide. Ken Hinkley needs a win, and badly, or speculation about his future at the helm will continue to grow. Hinkley has reacted by making four changes, including dropping regular half-back Darcy Byrne-Jones.
The Swans’ strong start to 2023 came to a crashing halt with a comfortable loss to Melbourne, but the reigning runners-up are still a formidable force, especially at home.

That wouldbbe lower than the first rounds I reckon and that was some playing out of the forward line too. That's it maybe with the little less game time he has more for when he is on the ground be interesting to watch. Def deserves too I think maybe Farrell could go out and Williams stays. Hopefully we can back it up.this weak against the dogs midfield because if we don't well be in all sorts of trouble with the dogs midfield and talls.

I thought both where good.Noticed JHF only played 68% game time so obvious that they are managing him, think he still chalked up 18 possessions and yes he chased and tackled alot better ,he is super composed for a 19 y/o.I liked Williams game and he desrves to keep his spot.Burton will come back so selection will be interesting

Jhf didnt blow the stats sheet apart but he did dome nice things and seemed to be chasing that little bit better mostly too, he's going to have to watch his don't argue though players will start to wake up to that pretty quickly same as pepper pig, can still use it of course just not as much if that makes sense. Dylan actually looked pretty good down back didn't he, showed some nice composure at times and has a good kick on him. Bit surprising considering we had him marked for a forward for so long I think it was only during last year we moved him back. Be interesting to see if you can have him and Farrell in the same back line consistently. We get burton back this week too I think.

Sad to ask this question, but is Franklin really in the best 22? He’s looking like a liability at the moment.

Oh dear... I was there. Such an exciting game, the SCG was roaring. So good for AFL in NSW. Congrats Port and best wishes to Jeremy Finlayson dealing with a very sick wife on top of all the booing. I know that the Port crowd are pretty lethal for opposition teams to deal with but I didn't think we were as nasty. It seems we are moving in the same direction. Chin up Ollie, you played a terrific game and there was a very strong wind hurling over the SCG making goal kicking harder. On, on...

Just did my research. It looked more normal in the past when they punched each other in the face...times have changed.

Best wishes to Paddy McCartin - I sincerely hope he's missed a bullet with that latest concussion. Really concerning.

The end can come real fast at that age. Maybe it's time for a midseason delisting window in exchange for extra MSD picks? Not a fan of midseason trading, but newbie drafting makes sense.

He needed a big game too its good to see, if he can hit some form and consistently it will make a big difference for us.

Its a shame. He seems to have officially joined the "one year too long" club. You hate to see it happen to a legend of the game
