West Coast farewell a pair of club legends in Luke Shuey and Shannon Hurn as they look to finish the season with consecutive wins against Adelaide. Join The Roar for live scores from 8:10pm (AEST).
Their 2018 premiership captain and Norm Smith Medallist respectively, Shuey and Hurn will go down as two of the Eagles’ greatest, and the club will desperately hope to send them out on a winning note.
The Eagles stunned the Bulldogs last week for just their third win of another troubled campaign to rise off the bottom of the ladder, but with Adelaide still smarting from the controversial hit the post decision that cost them a win against Sydney and ended their finals hopes, they might find it tough to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since 2021.

Absolutely – it’s not like we’ve had any injuries. No excuse unlike your boys who’ve missed Lynch for large parts of the season and had your coach jump ship midseason citing burnout. Jog on.

Absolutely appalling and amateurish that the Adelaide Crows will not be playing finals. The AFL have been watned3for far too long that the scenario of a goal umpire ruling the wrong way would eventually happen when it really mattered and have done nothing but sit on their hands. Fix the system. Pathetic for players , club and fans alike. By the way, I’m a Magpie supporter.

Tex had 19 shots on goal. Surely he could have done better than that. Curmudgeonish enough for you? :crying: :crying: :unhappy: :unhappy:

Also had to have Allen go back.

I had to sleep, migraine, and l wake to this. Our biggest extraneous issue was not winning games away. Our biggest internal issue is collectively going missing. Pleasing from this game was a bit patience in trusting it'll happen. It was not an insignificant issue to overcome what happened last week. This was a danger game no doubt. It was a good comeback win.

The away from home record has been bad. As someone said that is the last domino to fall

Disappointed with the loss but glad the team put in a shift for the retirees before they ran out of legs in the last. Hurn, Schuey and Naitanui will be missed.

Reminds me of Richmond feeding Riewoldt for ten against the Suns,so he could beat Kennedy.

Equally good. I think an auction looks likely.

We had Bazzo on him early doors, no Hurn, and Barrass has missed both games

No thanks, trade pick 1 and get Curtin and Duursma

How so? We didn't let him kick 19 goals this year.

That's more the Hawks' style .
