I have little time for Ed and him attacking the media is hypocritical to say the least but I have no doubt the media identify targets they think are gettable and ramp up the pressure.
The way they have gone after Teague (a coach with still just 40 games under his belt) from before the season even started is a prime example.
I don’t know. Footy manager, long serving president, list manager and long serving senior coach all gone inside 7 months after kicking out three good players due to salary cap pressure. Probably warranted Ed.

It's just a flesh wound, as they say. I can recall the WCE drug scandal post 2006 and the press focus. The media pile-on now is reminiscent.
