Desperately needing a win to stay alive in the series, Australia will look for a much-improved performance against the West Indies in the third T20. Join The Roar for live scores from 9:30am (AEST).

It’s been a shocking series so far for the Aussies, who’ve batted terribly chasing the Windies in both of the previous matches. A loss this morning would consign them to a dispiriting series loss and put their World Cup preparations in disarray.

"Yep – the weakness of the tournament gets hidden with all the cheerleading (by the commentators) and fireworks" Not to mention the cheerleaders themselves

Supersmash is NZ's domestic T20 comp.

It might be a poor man's Supersmash now.

What's happened to Australia? Windies are looking good though - up with NZ, England, and India as favourites for the World T20.

If anything to go by recent series results, I would rate teams in following order for upcoming t20 WC. 1. England 2. West Indies 3. NZ 4. India 5. Pakistan 6. South Africa 7. Australia 8. Bangladesh 9. Sri Lanka 10. Afghanistan Probably SL may switch with Afghan to take last place given the way they played last series. Pakistan is anything but unpredictable. But they have favorable conditions. India always looks strong on paper and play to their potential in ICC tournaments. Their top three(Rohit, Dhawan and Kohli) usually carries the team to semi final and usually choke(expose their untested middle order) at knockout games. NZ always punches above their weight. Australia not really looking comfortable. England and WI are the team with lot of match winners and they are the team to defeat this upcoming T20 WC. Let’s see if T20WC is coming home?

Australia have played him back in to form. They really have become the nice guys of world cricket.

Philippe, Carey or Inglis can open. Finch's captaincy is poor at the moment. His use of Mitch Marsh's economy with the ball is a case in point. He didn't bowl him until the game was lost.

There's also a Mr Lara who might have something to say about that.

BBL level really coming home to roost. Many of these players are average at international level. Australia will improve with some inclusions but not enough. Callum Ferguson for the middle order?

For the generation of roarers who got to see viv play, is it fair to say Gayle is the best West Indian all format batsman after viv?
