Aaron Finch won't want to see this replay of his duck

By The Roar / Editor

It was a very strange start to the day at Adelaide Oval, as Aaron Finch gave away his wicket for none

Maxwell's never played a home Test. In 7 away Tests he averages 26. Marsh averages 29 away. Give Maxwell a run and see what he does. If it doesn't work you replace him. Not hang on to them and invent reasons for the selection as we have done with the Marsh brothers (especially MM). No 35 average batsman deserves blind faith. Maybe Smith with a 60 average and Warner with a 48 average, but no-one else in the team. The rest can be readily replaced.

Hey I totally agree with about the Marsh bros but......... Burns and Maxwell are not significantly better. They have been tried and failed numerous times. If you compare all 5 players with Sheffield Shield standard of 15 years ago none of these guys would make a State team.

Finch isn’t a Test Player, let alone an opener

Shaun Marsh's last 10 innings. 1 26 0 16 7 7 0 3 4 2 The guy is 35 for crying out loud and we have guys like Joe Burns champing at the bit for a Test recall. Or how about Maxwell given a chance to debut on home soil. The Marsh brothers have been killing us since the South African tour.

Par for the course. Marsh playing for his Test career in the second innings. We can't afford to be carrying people like the Marsh brothers and Finch when you have guys like Joe Burns knocking down the door. I'd bring in Burns and Maxwell for S Marsh and Finch.

S Marsh won't want to see the shot HE played either. Complete rubbish given the circumstances

How Burns is not opening is beyond me! Keep Finch for the hit n giggle. He is not test calibre. He would be better down the order at number 6 against the shaggy ball. The selectors will never learn.

Blind freddy could've seen this coming. Finch isn't a Test opener.
