I'm a fan of Travis Head but looking at QLDs reply and with D/L impact........they really need to stop playing matches at Karen Rolton. It's doing no good to an already diminished domestic league. Bowlers are getting pants, Batsmen are getting inflated egos. With half our test team playing white ball cricket and the other half playing on those airport strips we just setting ourselves up to be ambushed in the Ashes.
I'd rather him be picked for the format(s) that for which he is in form. He's not in the test team, and he's clearly in good white ball touch - get him on a plane.
While oddly enough not getting him on the plane for the T20I world cup, nor will it get him anywhere near the ODI team. He's not played a short form match for Australia since 2018.
Who knows why!?
Australians don't need to quarantine in the UAE - there is still plenty of time to get him over there....
