The New Zealand Warriors will be looking to get their top-eight aspirations back on track as they take on the bottom of the table Manly Sea Eagles at Central Coast Stadium. Stay up to date with all of the action on The Roar with live scores from 6pm (AEST).

The Warriors won both matchups last year between these two teams but the Sea Eagles have the advantage in overall matchups, winning 24 of the 36 previous games.

The Warriors, who currently sit in 11th place, will want to bounce back after a heavy defeat at the hands of the Sydney Roosters last week. Nathan Brown will be coaching his 250th NRL game in this one and the team will want to give him the win he deserves.

They have been forced into a number of changes in the forward pack due to the injury to Addin Fonua-Blake and suspension for Bunty Afoa.

Tohu Harris moves from the edge to fill in one of the prop positions while the ever-reliable Leeson Ah Mau comes into the starting lineup.

Kane Evans has come onto the bench and will play his first game for the Warriors after building his fitness in Queensland and NSW Cup games. Bayley Sironen is also unavailable for the Warriors with Jack Murchie filling his spot in the second row.

The Sea Eagles, on the other hand, will still be without star fullback Turbo Tom Trbojevic due to injury but his brother Ben has been listed in the reserves. Jack Gosiewski replaces the injured Morgan Boyle in the second row, while Morgan Harper fills the spot available in the centres due to the injury to Moses Suli.

Manly will be hoping to get their first win of the season and turn their lacklustre campaign around.

They are without a win from the first four rounds and unfortunately history is not on their side in this one. They have conceded 40 points in each of their past two games at Central Coast Stadium.

Prediction
Manly have been truly awful to start the season and look for that to continue in this one.

Central Coast Stadium has been an unhappy hunting ground for them in the past and the Warriors will be out to prove that they are better than previous results have shown.

With Nathan Brown coaching his 250th, the Warriors will run out winners in this one.

Warriors 28, Manly 14

I'm sorta joking. But sorta not. Also, Warriors recruitment is still terrible. Look at them letting Agnatius Passi go at his prime at 28. A tough, solid, even skilful forward. No brains the Warriors recruitment officers - no brains, and no brains for years. A.F/ Blake now injured rest of year, their one big signing gone. They're stuffed. Sorry if I sound like a downer, and I would love to be proved wrong. One more thing - boring godamnned football wins nothing. Warriors had best completion rate in the comp before this game..so what? Why are they not at the top of the table then....there is no prize at end of the year called "Best Completion Rate"

Selfish attitude. Not even considering all the pleasure others gain from the Warriors underperforming

Benefit of the doubt is meant to stay with the onfield call. It wasn’t a clear error. I’ve seen plenty on other games where they aren’t over-ruled. Anyway, whatever, both teams were poor.

So you're saying the call was technically correct, but not correct enough to overturn?

More that the bunker is meant to overrule obvious errors and that was one that is never overruled in other games. Eh, whatever...

Ah we all get our chance at some point. I had plenty of fun when they beat the Raiders, can’t enjoy it every week.

Bit early to sack Brown, give him a few more weeks at least. A few injuries and uncertainty at a few spots have hurt. They haven't been great but 5 weeks in is too early for a sacking surely!

The Warriors are going backwards. Time to sack Nathan Brown. He doesn't have what it takes. Warriors should have doubled what Cowboys offered Payton.

Sounds like you've got more of an issue with the rule than the bunker. The rule clearly states any kind of movement towards the ball constitutes playing at it. The Warriors player clearly moved his right leg towards the ball.

Match Report A strange start to the game with both teams hardly firing a shot for the first 25 minutes. Errors galore and some strange play led to many reaching for the drinks to soothe their bored brains. It took off in the 27th with a fantastic scrum play by the Sea Eagles as DCE put in the long ball for Saab to put it into 5th gear and race past Maumalo for a fantastic first try to start the match. 3 minutes later the Warriors were in with some slick hands down the left hand side from RTS to Murchie who broke the line. He threw a speculator Maumalo's way which Saab deflected right into the hands of the big winger and Maumalo dotted it down. The half then came to a close with those being the only points on the board and it was all set up for a barnstorming second half. Sadly that wasn't to be. It started well with Sean O'Sullivan breaking the line with a huge dummy and run on the 10 to score right next to the posts. The Warriors were up and about and looking good until the errors crept in. A DCE grubber that was easily covered by Nikorima turned to gold for the Sea Eagles as little Kodi let it slip through his fingers like his native kahawai and Schuster grabbed his first meat pie of his young career. Some back and forth play with more errors led to both teams attempting drop goals with 5 minutes to go. A Murchie knock on with 2 minutes to go proved fatal as Manly marched down the field. They had a Schuster drop goal charged down but recovered and got position for a second shot at it. The ever calm DCE put boot to ball, absolutely mishit it with a terrible shank but it somehow went over to potentially kickstart the Eagle season. For the Warriors, it will be disappointment and a long hard look in the mirror as this was one they should have dominated from the outset. Warriors 12 Sea Eagles 13
