What about the first Rosters try that was disallowed which 6 days ago when it was Turbo was deemed ok? That didn't go in the Roosters favour and it was when the game was still a contest.
I'm probably biased as a Raiders fan but I don't really see what's so disrespectful about Whitehead's actions here. He wasn't swearing at the referee, and the referee's only caution was that his language was being broadcast live so he should be mindful of it - which he was after that initial swear. At the end of the clip the referee even says "I know you're not having a go at me". Whitehead's entitled as captain to plead his case, and his central point - that it's frustrating for players to not know what the bunker is going to rule from one week to the next - is something pretty much every NRL fan spends all season saying.
The Raiders were putrid no doubt...but the referees were clearly too scared to make any decision that disadvantaged the Roosters. They stood up offside all night causing the Raiders already lackluster attack to completely implode...I think they may have been pinged once for it all night.

Frustrating night for Raiders with the bunker seemingly intent on helping the Roosters. Not that the Raiders did enough to win. Why Rapana was put on a shoulder charge and then two very similar "shoulder charges" by the roosters not when there was clear vision of no use of the arms just added to the frustration. Plus the missed dropped ball and the dubious offside call.
Fine the fool a fortune for his complete lack of respect - he had a couple of goes, as if he was pleading his case before the magistrate, and he is old enough to know better. Whingeing plum!
Why the referees engage with these blokes is a mystery - perhaps they have been instructed to show the precious boofs respect notwithstanding they fail, almost universally, to earn it. You can bet this bloke has never seen the Laws of the Game.

Seemed a soft report. Not sure I understood how Rapana was put on report but not penalised. Have you seen that before Ed?
