To be honest I wasn't a fan of either Ravalawa or Pereira last season but they are real improvers.
I look forward to seeing Pereira playing outside a centre with a passing game, and I think he would make a pretty good fist of full back if the need arose.
100% Andrew.
The "peanut gallery" are the supporters of the game. No supporters, no game, no pay check for Walshaw.
The supporters had every right to voice their dissatisfaction with Mary and the results the team have been dishing up for the last few years.
If Walshaw's work performance was as poor as Mary's, Walshaw would be reading the paper rather than writing in it.
I thought this was a great move actually, good on these two and gutsy. I recall Lomax trying to pass to Dufty and got roasted for it. Thing was, Dufty had clear space and if he got the ball cleanly who knows where he'd end up. No fan of the chooks, but they have a high error rate because they try stuff and it comes off often enough. Fortune favours the brave.
Yes, i live on the Gold Coast, only read the Telegraph at the local cafe, but you're right, it's full of sensationalist, sometimes untrue reporting re the NRL. Still I'll still read it, more sport stores than our local Gold Coast Bulletin.
Friday night produced a double bunger to excite the semses to the limit.
The Warriors showed us that the Panthers are very good but far from invincible.
SGI pulled one from the depths of Saints cherished history with a sustained burst
of courage worthy of the Big Red V brand. Glad to see McGregor go out a winner.
There might be a reason why he writes for the Telegraph, Andrew. That paper seems to rely on sensationalist crap to fill it’s sports pages, especially rugby league.
I haven’t read that piece but now I know what sort of rubbish this guy is prepared to write, I won’t be reading his articles any time soon.
Just reading Nick Walshaw's column in the Telegraph this morning. Refering to Saints supporters as the usual peanut gallery. Mate, you're the peanut. You wouldn't have a clue champ, get back on your training wheels.
