Who owns the Melbourne Storm? If it were, let's say, a media organisation, it would be in their interest to whip up a frenzy to shift some stock and get some clicks.
It wouldn't have made any difference anyway! The Storm would have still lost! Everyone is going on like the Storm were cheated out of a wining try, the whinging and moaning just never ever ceases to stop with some people and especially the press!
It’s a 50/50 call, and I’m not convinced it was the wrong one.
In the interest of curiosity I went to YouTube and used the slow motion setting to see how close Vunivalu’s hand got the line. There is a very brief moment where it appears the tops of his fingers brush the white chalk.
Definitive evidence? Hardly. But them’s the breaks sometimes. The touch judge made the call, some will agree and some will disagree. The commentators of both Nine and Fox piling on to him for it is ridiculous and childish, yet not entirely unexpected.
So what? These 50/50 calls happen every minute in every game including grand finals but beacause its the storm......suck it up. Now you know how the other 15 teams feel!
As Gould said, the touchie does nothing for the entire game, then steps in with a crucial clanger with 2 minutes to go and the game on the line. Epic fail.

Should have gone to specsavers. The guy had time enough to check his bank account to see if the money had been deposited.

I thought the epic fail was Josh Addo-Carr and his try assist with a few minutes to go.

THe Storm ran out of time to "wrestle back the lead".

Great job by Croker to point at the line for the partial obscured touchie, who took the bait. Melbourne would have done the same thing.

And the Storm were going to score from 40 metres out were they? Wrong call but it didn’t decide the match

Touches with eyes painted on insist on injecting themselves after missing everything the entire game. Video ref should’ve over ruled that blunder.
