Its half time in the Force vs Reds game and I bet you are smiling now. The Force have done their homework and laying all over the rucks to stop the LQB from the Reds. Damon hasn't twigged to it and Force are killing them. Give the Force a chance, they are capable of scoring tries, its always their ruck work and defence that lets them down. Tonight they are switched on.

Me too Thugby, took the Saders thinking they have to win some time and I wasn’t overly impressed with the Blues last week. Next game, against my better judgement, I took the Force. Couldn’t help myself

well there goes my perfect tipping round. The Crusaders were terrible, I don't think I have ever seen their lineout so leaky in all 26-27 years of watch Super Rugby. Add that two of their big names, Cullen Grace and Levi Aumua are really out of form while the whole side has caught the dropsy bug and clueless kicking and it was not a great surprise to see the glum red n black faces at full time. Having said that, the Blues were on fire, led by their 100 cap man Big Patrick Tuipulotu. In many ways the rotten results of the Crusaders' lineout was due to Patrick's reading of their throws and putting horrible pressure on their hooker throwers. The rest of the team followed big Pat into battle and played out of their skin. Dare I say this was the Blues' best game in SRP2024.

I know this the long and winding road back to the top, but man, it is heartbreaking to see the Jaffas scrum right through us.

Kiwi sides are still a class above most Australian teams but the gap has closed dramatically you’d have to say.
