Agree Thugby And don't forget Kearns :) While Mitchell is worse than Hoiles these 3 guys just talk up their mates at the Tahs. Form of individual players and the team means nothing to them - just like Cheika :)

just want to call out that the player who has most caught my eye while watching the video highlights of the u20’s their last three games is the Qld blindside Harry Wilson. A big unit and looks well drilled in his basics. In the glimpses that I’ve seen of him doesn’t look to be flashy but looks like he’s doing his job and executing well. A bunch of other guys are getting the headlines but he might be one to watch.

You just need the right people there and not those worried about themselves or appointing based on the boys club. I’ll guarantee I know better s&c guys than they have, physios etc. Then you need skills coaches, nutrition, mentors etc. Example of how poor rugby is – you’ve got a decent rugby playing school, pumping out a few pro players and schoolboys. Same school has the best athletics program in the country if not world, best if not close to it sprint coach in the country, does all their speed, gym etc. Offers to help. You think they take him up on it? Same at another rival school – the rugby guys run the gym program (size, size, size) when they had a guy who is an ex European champion sprinter offering to help. Rugby think they know better. They are clueless in comparison.

I'm certain that he believes the Brumbies have the better program. The fact he went to be involved in the Crusaders set up and then chose the Brumbies on his return to Oz is a very clear pattern. That's my issue - there is no reason the Tahs should not be able to set up a program that young players want to join but seems that is harder to do than say.

I think Frosty might think the Brumbies have a better program. I’ve known this kid a bit since he was about 14. That try was no surprise - he’s a very good hurdler and good all round athlete. Gun at discus with coordination, strength and long levers.

I stopped listening to Drew Mitchell and Stephen Hoiles touting all things Tah as the pinnacle of Aussie rugby. Do those clowns get televised to every state or do Queensland/Victoria/ACT get their own one-eyed commentators? Seriously sad to rugby on TV if that's all they can serve up.

I think they’re good enough if your centres can penetrate, and I like the look of Foketi.

I like having a strike winger and a wing/FB with a boot. Newsome and Clark are good honest footballers, but they are not threatening and neither has much of a boot. The only threat Clark has is his speed, but he lacks the ability to find a gap and he’s not particularly evasive. It’s disappointing the Tahs didn’t target Tom English. Undervalued in the Rebs that seem star struck at the moment and they have lost sight of his value. Now he’s headed overseas.

Will Harris, the No. 8 for the u20's. Powerful ball runner that had a lot of NRL clubs circling.

Who is the other Will H? Will Harrison looks like he has excellent potential. I don't think you do need a strike winger. It's just personal preference, but I much prefer wingers with guile to power wingers. Need some hard running centres though, despite AAC having played well last night (shocked to hear Drew Mitchell singing his praises for a Wallaby spot though).

Can't have them all I guess. We've got the 2 Will H's from this team in 2 spots where we need talent and they are both guns. I hope we sign Mark Nawalphabetsoup soon too. We need a strike winger desperately!

How good was this!?! Bloody Tahs unable to sign their prime talent. Imagine this bloke and Skelton as a pairing with Fardy at 6? And Swinton in the wings building to replace Fardy. Hanigan given the chance to actually build himself up instead of being thrust in before he was ready. Add Hooper and find a ball running 8 and that would be a sensational back 5.
