Live television is tough work. We’ve already seen it from ABC presenter Tony Armstrong in the last two weeks who got tongue-tied on Tim Paine’s bulging disc.
Stan pundit and Wallaroos player Sera Naiqama is the latest to slip up and once again she handled it the only way you really can. By laughing it off.
Naiqama was trying to explain how well the Wallabies are playing after a few barren years following a 27-8 win over Argentina and their third in a row. She wanted to use the word success but it didn’t quite come out that way. She then tried again when talking about Argentina’s lack of success.
“I’m so sorry, I can’t speak tonight,” she said.
It’s okay Sera we are laughing with you.

The “play” button and other video controls are invisible. It would seem visually revealing this naughty, horrid word at The Roar is inappropriate, unacceptable, offensive, misogynistic and choose-your-favourite-outrage cist!!! :stoked:

The Bokke have been away from home for sixteen weeks so she's probably right on the button.

Being a more 'mature' supporter Bro isn't part of my vocabulary but understand it's the norm for some of the lads. (Old man shaking fist at the clouds) What I also noted was how well Nick and Drew handled it for her. I could imagine if it was one of the other commentators Drew wouldn't have let it go.

Hugh, and she didn't say Bro 200 times either. :) What I found funny was in her 2nd faux pas, she changed the word "success" to "luck". Imagine her embarrassment if if she mangled the letter l with an f.

She has been a great addition to the Stan set up. Also terrific that she can have a laugh. I think Stan are on a winner with her.
