SHUT THE (redacted) UP AND DO IT THEN. The biggest stakeholders of the game are sick and tired of PR gibe and meek obligatory statements. Rugby in this country is an embarrassment on the world stage and it’s in your hands to at least show some grief and anger in poor results. Take some accountability or get out and let someone in who will.

Which of the below is going to feature in his aftermatch interview? A) "The boys are hurting" B) "Can't fault the effort" C)"learn from the loss" D) All of the above.

Too much PR tripe for too long with Hooper. No longer genuine or honest from the Wallabies captain. He doesn’t have credibility with so many fans. Wrong choice going forward as the captain.

How about starting tomorrow night, by avoiding a new record flogging?

Well I must say that's a refreshing outlook. Very novel approach. Not sure why they didn't think of this 5 years ago? Never heard anh of that before that I can recall

Ask him to explain “in English” what he means & as Captain what he intends doing about it. Tell him he can’t use waffle, BS , cliches or anything he has said before after a loss. He will be left with nothing new to offer. Wages thief.

if he really wants pride restored in the Jersey he should just take his off and give it to someone else.... His comments around Hodge being a Big Body show exactly what Rennie was thinking when he selected him at 10...Just wrong...

So the headline is saying there wasn't pride in the Wallaby jersey? Journey? FFS. Actions talk, BS walks. These pressers are a waste of time, let them get on with it.

Are you serious...this from the guy who (with the Cheika) destroyed any credibility the Wallaby jersey had. He is over rated and under performing as a Wallaby player and as coach. It's a disgrace he is still captain and his automatic selection into the team is what is wrong with the team and it's culture. If, as the new coach has stated, we are rebuilding, then surely we begin with the team leadership which has been missing since the last few months of McKenzie's reign. Hooper should have followed Cheika, Beale and AAC...we are the weaker for his belief he can lead the rebuilding of a once strong brand

I just loathe all the 'what we've gotta do' statements or the 'yeh we fixed those issues up from last game.' The game itself does the talking, so sadly for Hooper and the Wallabies, for too long the pre and post match talk is just embarrassing spin that comes back like a boomerang to the neck. Don't say anything boys, just do it on the field.
