It’s another local derby for A-League fans to salivate over as Sydney FC and Macarthur FC lock horns at the temporary Kogarah home of the Sky Blues. Stay up to date with their A-League clash with live scores on The Roar from 4:05pm (AEDT).

The reigning champions have not had things all their own way so far this season, winning just three of their first seven matches and only two of their last five. They’re still comfortably inside the top six, but they’ve got some ground to make up on several of their arch rivals.

This season’s newest side, Macarthur FC, are one of those teams. The expansion club have defied all early expectations to sit third on the ladder coming into the round, but had a two-match winning streak end rather emphatically as they were defeated 4-1 by expansion rivals Western United.

Bulls did enough to secure the 3 points. That's all that matters.

Congratulations to the Bulls. Second on the table. I think a few people would be surprised at Macarthur’s rise to the top, but it’s true. That’s football! Another crazy week in the A-League.

Macarthur go top of the table by winning the Surf and Turf Derby.

“ Barbarouses is the Sydney version of Robbie Kruse.” - Twitter Not entirely sure that’s fair on either of them. In their prime, both quality players.

Boring game of football, but good that the Bulls got it over SFC.

Referee misread his instructions. He’s supposed to red card one of Sydney FC’s opponents, not a Sydney FC player. Little Stevie will not be happy.

The Cows playing the possession game again - much like WSW. Sydney FC still look likely though.
